"THE MIDNIGHT MURDERS" chronicles my own story and the long pursuit of my brother’s killer. It begins with a murder when I was seven years of age and a promise made to my mother to catch my brother’s killer. I grew up and as a young man I hitched a ride out of town and left my poverty stricken home town area with only a high school diploma, and was destined for a life long career in the northern steel mills, and after a few years of restlessness and roaming from place to place passed before I found my place in life. After 26 years of studying the elements of criminal behavior had passed, I returned to my hometown with a handful of diploma's and commendations and a couple of Police Hall of Fame medals and ribbons pinned to my chest. I came home to investigate the murder case of my brother and honor the promise that I had made to my mother. As a former police officer / homicide detective I continued to work on the unsolved murder case until a full disclosure of the “Who” and “Why,” ended the 46 year old haunting mystery of the person responsible for the unsolved death. A very unique and mystifying story of how one brother grows up to solved the murder of another brother and the love and dedication to his family.
