If you are looking for a police job in South Florida the first thing to do is contact the department for their procedures and application process. Most departments will tell you to contact the Broward Academy – broward.edu/ips/IPS/TestingCenter/page4889.html. The academy normally does three primary test for most of the police departments in Broward. These test consist of swimming, written and a physical. Once you pass all three you get paperwork to go with the application that you turn in to the department.
If you don’t know where you want to work, take the tests at the academy and while you are there you might get some information to direct you to a department that is hiring.
